Best green tea shop in Uji. Desserts are delicious and matcha ice cream / or drink is out of this world. This is the head shop of the chain. Expect to wait for over an hour during peak hours

I came here from 三室戶寺， but the Google map kept taking me to the back of the building across the railroad track. Make sure you walk to the Keihan Uji Station front entrance first. Then there will be signs on the road to take you here.

Good food if you love green tea.

My husband brought me here when I wanted to stop by Uji for matcha desserts and souvenirs before we leave Kyoto. I'm so glad we came! I loved their matcha desserts and their green tea souvenir options! Tax free available. It was raining when we were there. The store associates were really kind and gave us an umbrella on our way out since we needed to get back to the JR Uji station. Much thanks!!

Just a solid place for some good desserts. Closes the later compared to other dessert shops around town, so quite convenient. Got a great collection of souvenirs too.

Too bad we missed out on the food (past service hours), but we went scavenging the omiyage section and enjoying our catches back home. Worth every cent!

This brand is famous for the green tea. Many people come to the restaurant to order a dessert which is very popular among the local. The price is affordable which is within 1000 yen. It is also a tax free shop. Tax is refunded when exceeding 5000 yen

A good place to visit if you want a one-stop shop of having a meal of green tea products and its souvenirs.

Mains are good but desserts are their forte. We came on a Sunday and wait time was more than 2 hours. Do note of your number as they will call out and give you menu first before you are seated. Popular with locals but peak days management could improve.

Very green place. I think they like green tea a lot. Be prepared to wait an hour for seats or express disapproval to expedite like an entitled Northern person. Very pretty food.

If you are visiting Uji for a day, try to come to this place for their soba noodles and Matcha parfait. You will not be disappointed! We were there in the afternoon and there's been a long queue. Best to come before the shop opens. While waiting to be seated, we bought some hojicha, sencha, matcha powder and some matcha treats. Remember to bring your passport to get tax refund for tourists.

The one place not to miss when visiting Uji.Their Cafe is always very crowded.Expect to wait at least an hour or two,but it is totally worth it!

The number of parking lots is about 15.The number of seats is 45.Cafe is so useful when you take a break during Uji sightseeing.

most famous hundred years matcha brand in Uji, has huge range of matcha product, from chocolate to wine... we visited 3 hundred years matcha brand, this has the most japanese customers。。the tiramisu is so rich in favour!
